Teaching - Learning

Educators engage students in a safe environment where they explore their curiosity to extend into meaningful discussions. We strongly believe in developing positive relationships, supportive climate, formative feedback, behaviour management and joyful learning. This approach is practised by providing multiple opportunities and appropriate learning experiences.

IMAX (Primary School)

In Pearls Academy IMAX Curriculum is implemented from grade 01 to 05. The teacher’s companion book helps a lot to teachers as the daily lesson plans are designed along with related activities. Remedial and daily worksheets for the students can be designed. Individualized worksheets are given to each child after the main assessments.

IMAX curriculum is integrated with skill-building, innovative and analytical thinking. The response and support mechanism from the academic team to any query is very quick.

Question Papers for both the term exams are designed and shared with us. Result analysis too helps the students and teachers to plan further.

EDAC (Middle School)

In Pearls Academy, the EDAC curriculum is incorporated from grade 06 to 08. Students get involved in basic activities to nurture their basics and try to become kinesthetic learners.

ITeach and IReach programs help a lot to showcase the presentation skills of individual students. These programs have brought positive and desirable changes to our students. EDAC day is observed once a year by the (EIL) EDAC Implementation Leader.

The training sessions for teachers are arranged post-observation by the representative of EDAC called Growth Partner in coordination with Growth Leader, the purpose is to check the growth of students and teachers.

SENIOR SECONDARY: (NCERT)

Senior Secondary is a gateway to professional courses and professional life ahead so it’s a turning point of one’s life.

At the Senior Secondary level, we offer art, science & commerce streams designed to prepare students for either skilled trades or technical occupations in professions such as engineering, accountancy, business administration, nursing, medicine, architecture,  or for additional education at another college with more advanced academic courses.

Vocational and technical subjects like Computer Science, electronics, agriculture

NCERT:

The School follows the NCERT syllabus at the Secondary level

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is a government organization that is set up to assist qualitative improvement in school education in India. With the aim of building a common education system, NCERT owns the responsibility of developing and publishing the NCERT textbooks. Also, it develops educational kits and multimedia digital materials to help students with their studies.

CBSE and many state boards are now following the NCERT textbooks for classes 1 to 12 in their school course curriculum. Not only this, for various competitive examinations like IIT, NEET, UPSC; it is being recommended to refer to the NCERT book. This is because the content in the textbook is developed in a simpler and easily understandable way. One can start from basics and can go to a higher level by studying through these books.
