Guidelines For Transport

    1. School transport is optional for students and staff. The student who avails the school transport facility has to pay the annual transport fee.
    2. If needed The Transport Fee may be raised subject to a hike in Fuel Prices.
    3. No changes in the school bus routes will be made once finalized during the ongoing session. 
    4. New routes created at the request of parents will be charged extra depending upon the extra distance.
    5. There will be a lady conductor/attendant on all the buses.
    6. The phone number of the respective bus conductor to be shared by the Transport Manager to the parents of the respective bus.
    7. Parents will be updated by either SMS or a Phone call in case of delay/vary in the bus time due to unavoidable conditions like technical, traffic or any other issue.
    8. The school takes all measures for the safety and security of onboard students and staff, also takes all possible measures to avoid mishaps. In case of any unavoidable misfortune as the school vehicles run on the roads, any accident can happen, In such case of any disaster or emergency, in such cases, neither the school nor the school authorities will be responsible for any claim.
    9. Parents must submit the acceptance/undertaking of point no 5.9 of the transport policy at the time of availing of the transport facility.
    10. Parents or any other person is prohibited from entering the school bus while dropping or picking up their child.
    11. Those students who don’t wish to enrol in the school transport facility have to take written permission at the beginning of the academic year from the school principal.
    12. The school transport is chargeable for students only and the Annual Transport Fee (for one full academic year) will be charged which is to be paid along with school fees as per the school fee policy.
    13. The allotted bus number & seat number will not be changed without the prior approval of the Transport Manager.
    14. Pickup and drop point cannot be changed without the prior consent of the Transport Manager.
    15. Pickup and drop timings of the bus to be followed strictly. Students & staff should be present at least 10 mins before the scheduled bus time.
    16. Students/staff must board/un-board the bus immediately as it arrives at the scheduled pick/drop point without delay. The bus will not stop/wait for anyone. 
    17. If the student/staff misses the school bus, it’s the parent’s/staff responsibility to drop the child/come to school at its own cost. 
    18. The bus will not stop between two pickup/drop points. Pickup/drop points will be on accessible main roads only. 
    19. Pickup and drop point/time may vary due to technical, traffic or any unavoidable circumstances.
    20. Damage to the school bus by students/staff/parents in any form will be considered as an act under penalty and a penalty would be imposed.
    21. Misconduct or misbehaviour on the bus by students or by parents/guardian is a punishable offence which will be considered as an act of indiscipline and result in termination of the student.
    22. The student will be responsible for their own belongings in the school bus or transport staff will not be liable or held responsible for the same.
    23. Parents will be responsible for the child’s safety from the bus stop to the residence and visa Versa
    24. Parents must not argue with the conductors/drivers present on the bus. In case of any problem, a written complaint should be submitted to the School Desk or email to School Transport Manager.
    25. One seat should be divided/shared to 03 students of grade 01 to 05. From 06 onwards 02 students will share one seat.
