PTSE Details:

1. The Merit-Based Scholarship is called “Pearls Talent Search Exam – PTSE”.
2. It is for Grade V – XII Boys & Girls.
3. PTSE is usually conducted in differnt states and students can select suitable center’s as per their convenience from the available cities
4. Hostel facility is only for Boys. Girls can join the Day Boarding Program till usually 5.00pm.
5. Scholarship budget is Rs. 1.50 Crores for the Academic year 2024-25
6. The total number of Scholarship seats available are 145.
7. The Trust allocates 90 Scholarship seats for Grade XI – XII NEET & JEE (IIT) aspirants.
8. The remaining 55 Scholarship seats are for Grade V to X
9. Scholarship seats for NEET aspirants are available for 15 boys and 15 Girls and for JEE (IIT) aspirants for 15 boys each for Grade XI & XII. That makes a total of 45 seats in Grade XI & 45 seats in Grade XII
10. Candidates who are willing to take admission into Pearls Academy will only be able to avail the scholarship awarded to them on the basis of merit.
11. The Scholarship doesn’t cover the Admission Fee. Joining Foundation Course is necessary for students availing Scholarship which is designed to give them a cutting edge in these competitive times.
12. The students selected for 75% or 50% Scholarship will have to pay the remaining Fee with the Admission Fee as per the School norms.
13. Scholarship Program doesn’t cover Hostel Fee for the students of Grade V to X.
14. This Scholarship is valid for a period one Academic year only.
15. Every Year students have to re-appear in the PTSE and qualify for the Merit-based Scholarship. This is to ensure that the scholars maintain their standard’s
16. The PTSE will be conducted only in English and the medium of Instruction at Pearls is also English.
17. The PTSE will be in 2 stages.
18. PTSE Stage-1 will be an Offline Exam of 100 Marks with weightage of 50% of Total & the duration of the Exam will be of 90 min.
19. PTSE Stage-2 will be of Final written test with weightage of 50% of the Total Marks.
20. The Total marks of PTSE Stage-1 & 2 will be 200 Marks. The PTSE Stage-2 Center will be PEARLS ACADEMY, Aurangabad.
21. There would be a final One-to-One interaction and the candidate has to be present along with the Parents / Guardian for the same. The dates will be informed to selected candidates.
22. Students are eligible for the exam only if they have scored 80% and above in their school exam.
23. Students will be eligible for Scholarship only if they score a minimum of 80 and above in the PTSE and eligibility exam.
24. Important dates: Stage 1 – 11th Feburary, 2024, between 11.30am to 01.30pm & Stage 2 – will be announced with the result of stage-1 on the School website.
25. PTSE Stage-2 dates will be informed Individually to the selected students.
26. The registration charges for PTSE Examination is Rs. 50/-(Refund Policy)and will be done through an Online form (Click here for Registration Form).
27. PTSE Stage 1 will be a Single Session Exam & will include Maths / Science / Physics / Chemistry / English / Aptitude as applicable and will have negative Marking.
28. Each correct answer give’s you 2 marks and each wrong answer gives you (-1) mark
29. The PTSE Stage – 1 will be based on the CBSE syllabus of the Current Class of the candidate(i.e. NCERT Books).
30. PTSE will be MCQ’s based.
31. The students with approved Scholarship details will be contacted from the School before 30th April 2024.
32. The students with approved Scholarship Letters have to report to the school for completion of required formalities on or before the prescribed date as and when informed, failing which the seat will be transferred to the next candidate.
33. All rights are reserved with the management of the school to select/reject/withdraw/cancel PTSE.
