Career counselling cell (BUNIAD : Basic Understanding and Nurturing Intelligence,
Attitude & Diligence) conducted a session “Why Civil Services?” at Pearls Academy
auditorium on 8th of January 2022 Saturday for the students of grades 8 to 10 .
This Session was conducted by Civil Services Coach Mr. Adil Aziz Siddiqui.
The program started with the recitation of the holy Quran by Master Saad of Grade 6th and
translated by Mohammed Yousuf of grade 9th.
Guests were felicitated with bouquets and shawls by the members of the School Cabinet.
Rasha Shabibi, a student of grade IX gave an enthralling performance to the audience by her
self written poem”It depends on you” on the topic of attitude towards success.
Deshmukh Mariya, another student of grade IX got thunderous applause from the audience for
presenting her self-written poem on the topic of ‘Confusions and pressure of society related to
career’ in a hilarious way.
Guest speaker Mr. Adil Aziz spoke about the ways one can serve the nation by cracking UPSC
exam and becoming an IAS officer. He also guided the students about the appropriate strategy
for preparation for civil services and discussed the common myths and misconceptions about
the same among the students.
Academic supervisor Mr. Anwarullah Khan emphasized the importance of remaining focused.
Principal Dr. Nayer Iqbal, academic supervisor Mr. Anwarullah Khan and Head Mistress Ms.
Khushboo Kotwal graced the occasion. The event was anchored by Kashaf Fatema of grade
9th.
The program concluded with a Vote of thanks delivered by Baig Ayan of grade 9th.
The event was streamed live on Youtube and the feedback shared by the parents was a
testimony of the success of the program.
